Cycle Training Course Information
Adult Advance Cycling Course - Free:
This is a 2-hour bespoke session. You will learn more advanced skills, including how to use the best riding position for any situation, how to use traffic lights, multi-lane roads, or cycle lanes and how to ride on more complex roads, this might include complicated junctions or faster roads with speed limits over 30mph
You will need a road-worthy cycle with 2 brakes and a helmet (not full face) and suitable clothing for the weather (we train in all weathers)
Adult Confidence Course - Free:
This is a 2-hour bespoke session for those who can already ride, it is designed to increase your cycling confidence. The session can be tailored to what you'd like to learn and can incorporate any specific routes you'd like to take, i.e your route to work or a frequent destination
You will need a road-worthy cycle with 2 brakes and a helmet (not full face) and suitable clothing for the weather (we train in all weathers)
Adult Learn to Ride Course - Free:
This 45-minute session is designed for non riders to learn how to ride. (Max 4 sessions)
You will need a road-worthy cycle with 2 brakes and a helmet (not full face) and suitable clothing for the weather (we train in all weathers)
Bikeability 1:1 Child Learn to Ride: First session £30, any further sessions £58 (Non refundable) :
45 min to 1 hour course (Max 4 sessions)
They will need a road-worthy cycle with 2 brakes and a helmet (not full face) and suitable clothing for the weather (we train in all weathers) and a bag with a drink and a snack
Parents must stay during the training session
Stablisers are required to be removed to attend this course
Family Bikeability - Free:
This is a 3 hour bespoke family course for those who can already ride unassisted, it is designed to increase your families cycling confidence. The session can be tailored to what you'd like your family to learn and can incorporate any specific routes you'd like to take, i.e your route to school or a frequent destination. the instructors can also give tips on riding with younger family members
All participants will need a road-worthy cycle with 2 brakes and a helmet (not full face) and suitable clothing for the weather (we train in all weathers) There must be at least one adult and one child attending the course
