Holiday Bikeability Level 1 & 2
This course is for children who are confident and competent riders with a recommended minimum age of 9
The rider is taking part in a combined level 1 & 2 course, which they need to attend both days.
The course starts in an off-road environment, the rider must be able to ride in a straight line, whilst looking behind and riding with one hand whilst keeping control of the bike. If they are struggling with this element of the course, they will not be able to proceed to the on-road sessions, and you will need to collect them.
This course will give the rider a basic level of cycling competence on which they will need to build and practice with an adult, it should not be regarded as a guarantee of their safety.
They will need.
- A roadworthy cycle (without stabilisers) with 2 working brakes
- Suitable helmet (not full face)
- Suitable clothing for the weather
- Small backpack, with a drink and a snack
Instructors are not liable for any loss or damage to participants' cycles and other belongings.
The charge is non-refundable
These courses are either set up as one day or two days, please make sure if there are two dates listed on your booking that you attend both
Course timings may be reduced and/or changed depending on number of participants
